Program Israel 5 Days Pilgrimage Tour
Day 1, Bucharest - Tel-Aviv - Nazareth - Tiberias
Arrival at Bucharest airport for boarding formalities to Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv. Arriving in Tel Aviv, after customs formalities we start our visit to the Holy Land.
We are heading to Haifa on the Mediterranean coast. We will admire the Temple of the Bahai Cult, with its beautifully terraced Persian gardens, included on the UNESCO Heritage List (view from the vantage point). Continue to Mount Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration of the Saviour. In the Greek Orthodox church is the miracle-working icon of the Virgin Mary. We continue to the town of Nazareth, located in the northern part of Israel, described as the childhood home of Jesus Christ. Here we will visit the Orthodox Church of St. Gabriel and then we will go to the Catholic Church of the Annunciation where the Virgin Mary was told by the Archangel Gabriel that she would give birth to Jesus. A visit to Cana in Galilee, the place where Jesus' first miracle took place, the miracle of water being made into wine.

Day 2, Mount of Beatitudes - Capernaum - Bethlehem
Breakfast. We start the day with a visit to Mount Happiness where we will see the church that was built on the site where the Saviour Jesus Christ gave the beautiful sermon on happiness. Optionally you can take a relaxing and beautiful cruise on the Sea of Galilee in a boat similar to the one of the Saviour's time. We will go to Capernaum, the city most loved by the Saviour and where he performed most miracles. Here we will be able to see the ruins of the Synagogue and the house where St. Peter's mother-in-law was healed.
We continue to Tabgha - a place that recalls the miracle of the multiplication of 5 loaves and 2 fish and the feeding of over 5000 people.
We go down the Jordan Valley and stop at Yardenit where there is a place set up for the blessing of believers in the waters of the Jordan River.

Day 3, Jerusalem, Mount of Olives, Mount Zion - Bethlehem
After breakfast we will go to Jerusalem to the Mount of Olives, where we will visit: the Orthodox Monastery of the Ascension of the Lord which reminds us of the Ascension of the Lord to heaven and where we have the opportunity to see the place where the head of St. John the Baptist; the Pater Noster Monastery, the place where according to tradition the Saviour taught his disciples the Lord's prayer "Our Father"; the Monastery "Dominus Flevit" ("The Lord wept") built in the shape of a tear, on the place where the Saviour Jesus Christ mourned the lack of repentance of those in the Holy City but also lamented the fate of Jerusalem; The Garden of Gethsemane with the Church of the Nations erected on the spot where the Saviour prayed before being captured; the Church of the Tomb of the Virgin Mary where we will descend the 48 steps to the Tomb of the Virgin Mary and the Cave of Betrayal, the cave where Jesus was imprisoned before the judgment.
Afterwards we will go to Mount Zion where there are the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the Foyer of the Last Supper (Christian churches in the world) and the Tomb of the Holy Prophet and Psalmist David. Visit the Jewish area of the Holy Citadel at the Wailing Wall. In the afternoon we will go to Bethlehem where we will see the Orthodox Church of the Birth of the Lord, which houses the Cave where Jesus Christ was born and the miracle-working icon of the Mother of God called "Bethlehemite" or "Bethlehem's Advocate").

Day 4, Hozeva - Jerusalem, Via Dolorosa
Breakfast. We head to Hozeva where we will visit the Monastery of St. George whose foundations were laid by Saints Joachim and Anne, being the place where the two saints prayed for the gift of a child. Originally, the monastery church was dedicated to the Mother of God. Today, however, after rebuilding and renovations, the church is dedicated to Saint George the Hezevitch and Saint John Jacob of Neamt. Also in the monastery is the cave where the Prophet Elijah lived for many years. We will leave for Jerusalem and we will enter the Holy City of Jerusalem through St. Stephen's Gate. We walk along the Via Dolorosa (Way of the Cross), with the 14 stops of the Saviour Jesus Christ, reaching the Church of the Holy Resurrection where we will see all the holy places: Golgotha, the Stone of the Anointing, the Holy Sepulchre, the place where the Holy Cross was, etc. In the evening we visit the Church of the Roman Settlement in Jerusalem.
